In the eternal city of Macondo, seven generations of the Buendia family survive love, oblivion, and the inevitability of their past and destiny. This is Netflix’s most expensive Latin American project to date, with the participation of Colombian groups and indigenous communities that build the series’ props and sets. One Hundred Years of Isolation 🌿Story: Based on the famous novel of the same name by Gabriel García Márquez, the series follows "José Arcadio Buendia" and "Ursula Iguaran," two relatives who leave their village to find a new home after marrying against their parents’ will. Accompanied by friends and adventurers, their journey culminates in the creation of a virtuous city on the banks of the prehistoric stone river Macondo. Many generations of the Buendi dynasty determine the future of this legendary city, tormented by madness, impossible love, an absurd, bloody war, and the fear of a terrible curse that hopelessly reigns in a hundred years of isolation. From the very beginning of the first episode, it was clear that I was in for a fascinating work, which actually exceeded my expectations. And each episode made me excited to see the next. The sequence of events is wonderful, orderly and calm, and the clarity of every detail and bias created a beautiful feeling. Everything is perfect, the performances, sounds and atmosphere are unified and wonderful. Honestly, a very wonderful series, and it did not disappoint, it is very enjoyable. No need to waste time scrolling endlessly – here is the full range of new movies and TV shows to stream on Netflix this month.
